Krzysztof Kopeć, a construction engineer from Lubaczów, Poland, was moved by the situation of Aniela, an 80-year-old woman living in a dilapidated house in the forest. Aniela was struggling to survive in her crumbling home, lacking basic amenities like electricity and water.

Touched by her plight, Krzysztof and his wife decided to take action. They began providing her with essential supplies, such as food and clothing, and quickly recognized the extent of her needs.

Determined to improve Aniela’s living conditions, they used their professional skills to create a renovation plan and launched a social media campaign to raise funds for the project.

Aniela’s story resonated with many, inspiring a wave of support. Krzysztof formed a special aid group to coordinate the efforts of volunteers who generously donated their time and resources.

In just five days, a team of skilled builders transformed Aniela’s home. They insulated the walls, renovated the façade, replaced the roof and floors, and installed new tiles and furniture.

During the renovation, Aniela temporarily moved out, allowing the workers to complete the project efficiently. The dedication and compassion of the Kopećs played a crucial role in the success of this heartwarming endeavor.

Without the support of people like Krzysztof and his wife, Aniela’s situation might have remained unchanged. Their kindness and selflessness have profoundly impacted her life.

Aniela has formed a close bond with the Kopećs, transcending the boundaries of age and circumstance. She now enjoys regular visits from her “adopted” grandchildren, finding joy and companionship in their presence.
