It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of Levi Wright’s passing. This courageous three-year-old, son of rodeo star Spencer Wright, fought bravely for his life after a near-drowning incident on May 21. Sadly, Levi succumbed to a traumatic brain injury.
The incident occurred when Levi accidentally drove a toy tractor into a nearby river. Law enforcement found him unconscious, nearly a mile downstream. Despite being initially declared brain dead, Levi showed remarkable signs of improvement, giving hope to his family and loved ones.
In a Facebook post, Levi’s mother, Kallie Wright, expressed her excitement when Levi woke up. However, their hopes were soon shattered with the results of an MRI, which indicated a challenging quality of life. Yet, Levi continued to fight, and his family and friends rallied around him, seeking solace in prayers.
After exhaustive tests, consultations with experts, and countless sleepless nights, the Wright family made the difficult decision to remove Levi from life support. Tragically, on June 3, Levi passed away, leaving behind a world forever changed by his presence.
Mindy Sue Clark, a family friend, shared her profound grief on Facebook, acknowledging the immense strength and impact of this remarkable child. Levi truly moved mountains and brought people together during his twelve days of struggle. In a world often marked by darkness, Levi’s light shone brightly, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
During this immensely challenging time, our thoughts and prayers go out to the Wright family. May they find solace in the memories of Levi’s incredible spirit and the love he brought to their lives.
