High school students in the United States are usually under 21 years old, which means they are not legally allowed to drink alcohol. In some other countries, like the UK, the drinking age is 18. However, even there, it’s not allowed to bring alcohol to school events where minors are present.
Despite these rules, some students still try to sneak alcohol into prom to make the night more fun.
Prom chaperones are usually trained to keep everyone under control and spot any alcohol consumption. However, some students find clever ways to sneak in drinks anyway.
This picture is a great example of what students can get up to! One senior at prom, seen posing in the picture, cleverly disguised a large flask. How did she do it? She took a big silver flask and made it look like a clutch bag!
At first glance, it looks like she is carrying a stylish silver clutch. But if you look closer, you’ll see it’s something else entirely!
British student Eleanor Clarke wasn’t going to let any laws or rules stop her from having fun with her friends. She wore a beautiful gown and carried what seemed to be a metallic clutch bag. However, it turned out that her clutch bag was actually a large flask. Instead of a regular bag, she chose to carry something she could fill with liquid easily!
Eleanor didn’t say if she filled the clutch with alcohol, and she was quite surprised she managed to pull it off. “Still don’t know how I got away with a huge hip flask as my prom clutch,” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
She reportedly bought the flask from Tiger for $12. She hid it in plain sight in such a clever way that no one noticed until she revealed her scheme herself!
