Hi. Are you seeking for anything to satisfy a chocolate craving? Perhaps something so chocolaty it’s triple chocolate? As in three layers of different chocolate flavors and textures? Sounds amazing, right? Nice and indulgent. But what if they’re also convenient and easy? That sounds pretty perfect. These are No-Bake Triple Chocolate Cheesecake Bars, and you don’t even need to turn on the oven to make them.
I enjoy cheesecake. I enjoy chocolate. So this is a winning mix in my book. The fact that you don’t have to bake anything adds to their appeal. That’s nice sometimes, you know? When you’re not baking, you may need to chill items for a while to allow them to set, but this only requires little planning ahead of time and isn’t a major concern. That is the case here.
Begin with the crust, which is made by combining crushed Oreos with melted butter and pressing it into the bottom of a baking pan. Easy. While you work on the filling, place it in the freezer to let it to solidify.
The filling is pure chocolate cheesecake, which I enjoy because it isn’t overly sweet. The cream cheese adds some sharpness, but it doesn’t overpower the chocolate. To create it, combine cream cheese and sugar, then toss in melted chocolate chips and cocoa powder. But we don’t want it to be too dense, so prepare some heavy whipping cream and stir it into the cream cheese mixture.
Then you have a lighter but still highly rich chocolate cheesecake situation.Spread the filling over the cold crust, level it out, and top with small chocolate chips. (If you like, you can use chocolate shavings or ordinary chocolate chips.)Chill until it has set and you are ready to slice and serve. It will take around three hours to fully set, but you can prepare ahead of time if necessary. It can stay in the fridge for up to three days if necessary.
And few pieces will enough! These are really rich and delicious, so a small portion is all you need. In fact, I gave away at least half of this batch, but we still had plenty. One guy I presented them to said they were nearly “too good.” I agree.
