Because of her actions at a recent music event, Miranda Lambert is facing criticism. Many of her admirers claim to have lost interest in her and are dissatisfied. People have been offended by her onstage behavior before.
Star of country music Miranda Lambert is receiving criticism for her actions at the Montana Festival. Many individuals left after seeing Lambert chastise the audience in a video that was posted by an attendee on July 14.
The video features the artist addressing the crowd and is accompanied by text that says, “Miranda reprimands crowd at Under The Big Sky in Montana.” Wearing a denim outfit with tassels and a cowboy hat, Lambert was not hesitant to speak her thoughts to the crowd.
Lambert emphasized that she was not the center of attention for the audience. She continued, “I can see your head is not turned the right way, which is this way,” gesturing to herself as she finished her sentence with a southern drawl.
Some fans responded to the star’s apparent anger with cheers. “So, if you came to visit, you can do it somewhere else,” Lambert continues.
“If you came to sing and hear some country music and drink some beer [then we’re doing that tonight,” Lambert said, addressing the enthusiastic audience.
Lambert chastised the audience further, asking, “Are we clear?” while raising her hands. She then pointed to certain persons in the crowd and asked whether they were done being theatrical, implying that there had been a minor skirmish among them.
“Fighting is not acceptable […]” And it is always the girls. “We go crazy!” Lambert chuckled. After fully changing the tone, she lifts a cup to toast with the crowd.
“Cheers to everybody. “I’m going to wait it out,” she remarked, holding the cup in the air with her right hand before sipping from the straw inside. When Lambert realized her cup was empty, she turned to her stage staff members and shook it, indicating that she wanted a refill.
“Mine’s empty,” she said as someone quickly arrived to grab the cup from her and replace it with a fresh one. “This looks like a good time for a drink, y’all!” said the “Somethin’ Bad” artist, arms held out.
The TikTok user who posted the video said, “Thoughts? #mirandalambert #underthebigsky #whitefishmontana #countrymusic.” Many internet watchers flocked to the comments area to talk about what transpired.
“We’ve left. “As did a large portion of the audience,” disclosed someone who was present when Lambert spoke. Another social media user said, “This is terrible,” while another said, “I stopped liking Miranda for this exact reason.”
“This has always been her. I recall it from her county fair days. “[Never] paid to see her again,” another user said.
A TikTok user commented, “Miranda, [you’re] okay at best. Not outstanding. Please appreciate your supporters better. They made you who you are. Without them, you’d be an anonymous employee at Dairy Queen. Respectfully, just shut up and sing.”
While the majority of people disagreed with Lambert’s conduct and thought they were disgusting, some felt otherwise. “Honestly, she was fantastic. “We were right up front and loved every second of it,” said another concertgoer.
Similarly, a fan said, ” I’m in love with her. Always have. Has been a major effect on me. She’s simply very honest. Something that many of us lacked. Honesty!”
Lambert has always been open about her emotions, particularly with her performances. The uproar she provoked at the Montana Festival is not the first time the “Wranglers” singer has chastised her audience.
Lambert paused her performance of her smash song “Tin Man” during a previous Las Vegas engagement to address the audience. She was bothered by a group of women snapping pictures throughout her performance.
A few bars into the song, she stopped singing and asked her band to stop playing. Miranda Lambert pointed to the females and said, “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, and it’s pissed me off a little bit.”
Lambert expressed her frustration even further, repeating how much she disliked what they were doing in front of a large applauding audience. Lambert reiterated what she stated lately, emphasizing that concertgoers should be focused on the purpose they were there: to hear some country music.
She then signaled with her hands for the women to put down their phones and focus on her. “Shall we start again?” she inquired before the pianist resumed the tune. When she started singing again, some people stood up and departed.
One concertgoer even said, “Let’s go, c’mon. “You don’t do that to fans.” Another responded, “Okay. Bye!” A social media user who posted footage of the concert drama last year (2023) added the words “She Mad” to the video. “Miranda said [it’s] my show,” they said in the caption.
More social media users agreed with the above views and commented on the issue. “Yikes, this was absolutely inappropriate and embarrassing. “She’s not a teacher here ,” wrote a TikToker.
Another person said, “Omg…” Imagine how they felt after this. “The people leaving right after she did it lmaoooo, that was great!” someone else said. Swiftie concluded, “Taylor [Swift] would never .”
