In a hilarious moment, a young boy was seen casually asking superstar Rihanna to take his picture with the footballer players at a recent AC Milan vs Manchester City game.
The mother-of-two attended the game where Man City lost to A C Milan and posed with Man City’s Jack Grealish and A C Milan’s Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah.
But one fan in the room approached Rihanna and, seemingly not recognising her, asked her to take a photo of him with the footballers.
Rihanna, unfazed, happily obliged and sat down on a nearby chair in order to take the perfect snap of the boy with his idols.
A clip of the heartwarming moment was shared on social media, with many X users jokingly remarking that the boy didn’t appear to recognise Rihanna.
Many suggested it was down to the fact the singer has not released an album since 2016 and has been focused more on her business-related ventures in recent years.
One user wrote: “The younger generation doesn’t recognise Rihanna anymore and it’s all her fault.”
Another said, “That lady hasn’t made an album in almost 10 years. These kids look 8-9. They don’t know nothing about that.”
“Rihanna is such a gracious queen.”
Pictured alongside Rihanna, footballer Jack Grealish had previously confessed in 2019 that the superstar was his celebrity crush.
Jack, who played for Aston Villa at the time, said in an interview that Rihanna was the celebrity he would most like to meet because “she’s pretty, and I like her music.”
The footballer shared the photo of himself and Rihanna to his Instagram and wrote: “I’ll tell you the truth, first time I’ve been starstruck in a long while 🤣🤣🤣🤣”
