Love Island’s Georgia Harrison has revealed that she was “mugged in broad daylight.”
The All-Star Islander detailed her terrifying attack outside the swanky Nessa restaurant in London’s Soho on Saturday.
The 29-year-old took to her Instagram with a desperate plea to return her stolen handbag which she claimed included an “irreplaceable necklace” and her passport.
Georgia shared snaps of the bright pink accessory embellished with the word “Guccify” and begged for help ahead of her travels abroad next week.
She wrote: “To whoever just stole my bag in London it has so much in it that I care about please return it.”
Then, alongside a snap of the restaurant, she said: “I was outside this restaurant @nessasoho so if anyone saw anything please let me know as it’s a very noticeable bag but the CCTV couldn’t pick it up there was an irreplaceable necklace in there so if you were involved just return in.”
Before finally adding: “If anyone hears of anyone trying to sell this just know it’s mine.”
“My passport was in there too and I’m flying next Friday am I going to be able to get a replacement on Monday as it’s only giving me options for a 1-week fast track?”
She later shared a snap of herself holding the bag at a concert with the words “isn’t life funny.”
After fans believed she’d had her bag returned Georgia was clarified that it was an old image and that she was still dealing with a whopping £1K worth of damage as a result of the theft.
She wrote: “Just to confirm I didn’t get it back that was a pic the night before it was stolen, I’m still in the process of getting a breakdown cover to get me a new ket, changing my looks and trying to get a new passport.”
“Over 1K of damage control let alone of the price of the bag and belongings in it. London’s crazy watch your stuff guys cause it’s just not safe.”
