We’ve all made choices in the past that we might regret, said things we wish we hadn’t, or made decisions we’d like to take back.

But few people have such big and visible regrets as Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, an Australian body art enthusiast who covered himself in over 200 tattoos.

Getting tattoos is very popular these days, and unique tattoos are trendy. However, there’s a limit to what most people are willing to put on their bodies. For Ethan, though, that limit was much higher.

Reports say that Ethan was only 11 years old when he started body modifications, stretching his ears. Since then, he’s done many different things, including splitting his tongue and removing his belly button.

But it’s his tattoos that get the most attention, and for a good reason—his body is covered from head to toe. Ethan has shared that he spent around $60,000 AUD (about $39,000 USD) to look the way he does.

Now, however, he says he feels some regret over the choices he made in the past.

“I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” Ethan shared with LadBibleTV’s *No Filter* series.

“But it’s more than regret. I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be seen in a different way.”

Ethan explained that he’s now concerned about how people might judge him when he’s doing everyday things, like taking his young daughter to school.

“My face is a big factor that can cause issues—maybe not for everyone, but for some people. It can create challenges, and I don’t want my daughter to face those until she’s older,” he explained.

“I wish I hadn’t gone so intense with the tattoos on my face.”

In an effort to change his look, Ethan is undergoing painful laser treatments to remove some of the tattoos he got when he was younger.

He explained, “I’ve been getting laser surgery for almost a year now. We do it in sections, and I think I’ve gone over the whole area six or seven times.”

He added, “I started doing it because of the anxiety I was feeling. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly, but I believe a lot of the anxiety came from having so many tattoos on my face.”

Ethan continued, “I’m okay with how I look, but I’m also okay knowing that in the next two years, my face tattoos will slowly fade away. I’m just clearing the canvas.”

Ethan’s transformation is quite striking! It shows how personal choices can evolve over time. Many people may find it inspiring that he’s taking steps to change how he feels about his appearance, especially for the sake of his daughter. The before and after look highlights the significant difference in his image and might resonate with others who have similar feelings about their own choices. What do you think about his journey?
