The US election has finally come to a close, with Donald Trump projected to win against his opposition, Kamala Harris.
And one unlikely pundit is copping some flak for accurately predicting the result… it’s none other than Moo Deng.

The polls had predicted a closer result than what actually happened, with Trump taking a sizeable lead over Harris from early on.
However, Thailand’s famous pygmy hippopotamus, Moo Deng, appeared to know exactly which way it would go, having predicted the result hours before it happened.
Moo Deng, who lives at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in the Chon Buri province, was given two melon cakes by zoo workers – each with the name of Harris or Trump on it – and allowed to choose which one she gravitated to, in order to predict who would win.
The tiny hippo went straight for the one with Trump’s name on it, predicting that he would emerge victorious.
Now, some fans are claiming Moo Deng may have even rigged the election, sharing their hilarious takes online.
They tweeted: “The hippo was rigged,” and: “Moo was more genius than all polls lol.”
Others added: “Wow, Moo Deng was spot-on with the 2024 election prediction!”, and: “So, he was behind the victory of Trump?”
One joked: “BREAKING Moo Deng has been jailed for illegal voting and election interference.”
Moo Deng – whose name translates to ‘Bouncy Pig’ or ‘Bouncy Pork’, is an endangered species of pygmy hippopotamus, according to Fox News.
The species is mainly found in Liberia in West Africa, according to the Pygmy Hippo Foundation, and there are around 2000 remaining in the wild.
Moo Deng’s viral fame has been thanks to her adorable size, with pygmy hippos only getting to around half the height (0.7 meters) and a quarter of the weight of a normal hippo.

Trump, 78, is now the first person to win two non-consecutive terms as president since the late 1800s.
After the Pennsylvania result was announced, Trump told his supporters in Florida: “It is now clear that we’ve achieved the most incredible political thing. Look what happened. Isn’t this crazy?
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president.”
Elon Musk also joined Trump to watch the election results come in through the night, with Trump even mentioning Musk in his victory speech.
Surrounded by close family and friends, Trump said: “Everybody up here is very special. We have a new star – a star is born, Elon [Musk].
“He is an amazing guy, we were sitting together tonight. He spent two weeks in Philadelphia and different parts of Pennsylvania campaigning. That’s why I love you, Elon.”
Later, Musk reiterated his optimism, posting on X: “The future is gonna be fantastic,” accompanied by a photoshopped image of himself in the Oval Office.

“Let that sink in,” he captioned the post, noting how Americans had given Trump “a crystal clear mandate for change.”
With Trump having exceeded the pivotal 270 electoral votes, he will be the 47th president.
He declared he had “made history” after being projected to win key battleground states like North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
“Every single day I will be fighting for you, with every single breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that children deserve,” Trump said.
“And that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age for America.”
Despite the Republicans not yet being officially declared the winners, Trump now sits just four electoral votes shy of victory.

Truth behind sonar image believed to show Amelia Earhart’s long lost plane is finally confirmed
By Kim Novak
The truth behind an image many believed to show the final resting place of Amelia Earhart’s lost plane has finally been revealed.
Amelia Earhart disappeared in 1937 while attempting to become the first female pilot to circumnavigate the world. Credit: Universal History Archive/Universal Images Group via Getty Images
Earhart, an American aviation pioneer, disappeared over the Pacific Ocean on July 2, 1937, along with her flight navigator, Fred Noonan, while attempting to become the first female pilot to circumnavigate the world.
Mystery has surrounded her disappearance, with no trace of her, Noonan, or her Lockheed 10-E Electra plane, ever being found.
While most historians believed she must have crashed and sank into the Pacific Ocean, other conspiracy theories have emerged, including that she may have made an emergency landing on a nearby island or that she was captured by Japanese forces.
One of the wilder theories was that Earhart survived, changed her name, and became banker Irene Craigmile Bolam, however, Bolam sued the publishers of a book that originated this theory and reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement.
One of the more convincing potential sightings of Earhart’s Electra came after South Carolina-based deep-sea explorer Tony Romeo and his Deep Sea Vision team stumbled upon what he believed could be the wreckage of the plane.
They captured a sonar image of an aircraft-shaped object in the Pacific Ocean during a three-month expedition to find Earhart’s Lockheed 10-E Electra, but have now confirmed the disappointing truth.
After further investigation, they have confirmed that the potential breakthrough was in fact nothing more than a rock formation, which had a similar shape to an aircraft.
Romeo said in a statement, as cited by the New York Post: “While this outcome isn’t what we hoped for, we are continuing our search for another 30 days to cover over 1,500 square nautical miles.
“The global response to our initial discovery has been truly inspiring, a testament to Amelia and the pull of her incredible story.”
Romeo, who is a pilot and former US Air Force intelligence officer, had sold all of his commercial properties to pay for the $11 million search and remains committed to finding a breakthrough in the case.
Earhart had started her journey from Lae, Papua New Guinea, with plans to refuel on Howland Island before continuing their journey to Honolulu and their final destination of Oakland, California.
However, Earhart’s radio transmissions ended up going silent after she faced a strong headwind in Lae, and despite a 16-day search by the US Navy and Coast Guard, no trace was found of her whereabouts.
Mystery has surrounded her disappearance for nine decades. Credit: Underwood Archives/Getty Images
Earhart – who was 39 at the time of her disappearance – was officially declared dead on January 5, 1939, around a year and a half after she vanished.
Over the resulting nine decades, many expensive searches have attempted to locate any trace of where she and her plane may have ended up. All have so far been unsuccessful.
Romeo and his 16-person team had begun their investigation in September 2023, starting from Tarawa, Kirbati, a port near Howland Island, and used an unmanned submersible to scan 5,200 square miles of the ocean floor.
A blurry image appearing to show an airplane-shaped object was found around a month into the search, over 16,000 feet below the surface and around 100 miles off Howland Island.
While the images caused a frenzy, sonar experts had warned it was too hazy to verify whether or not it was the long-lost plane.

A second expedition launched by Romeo has now, sadly, confirmed that what was believed to potentially be the plane is actually just a rock formation in a similar shape.
The company is continuing its search to discover the truth of where Earhart and her plane ended up.

By Asiya Ali
A haunting video reveals the moment an armed suspect was found hiding in an attic by cops.
When John, a homeowner in Cudahy, Wisconsin, returned home from work on June 19, 2023, he discovered a man hiding in his basement.
“I opened my back door, and I saw a bunch of insulation from my roof, from my attic, on my kitchen floor. We thought an animal was upstairs,” he told WISN 12, cited by Fox News. “We thought an animal was upstairs. And it turned out to be an armed felon with a pistol.”

John was left shocked when he decided to investigate the noise coming from the attic and heard the intruder announce himself.
“He said, ‘My name is Robert,’” John said. “I pulled my gun. I am a licensed CCW weapons holder, and I pulled my gun. I pulled him out of my attic and I held him at gunpoint until the police showed up.”
The suspect was identified as Robert Turner Jr, a man who was previously convicted of homicide by negligent handling of a weapon in 2007, according to Fox6Now.
The 36-year-old was sentenced to eight years of initial confinement and five years of extended supervision, per TMJ4.
A chilling video of his arrest has circulated on social media.
Watch the video below:
In the clip, Turner – who was covered in dust and insulation – is seen hopping on his leg as he is detained by police.
According to the complaint, cops discovered a baggie of ecstasy in his pants. They also believe the firearm that was found inside a charcoal grill on the homeowner’s balcony belonged to him.
The suit also alleges that Turner became desperate when he was caught by John and tried to bribe him. “I’ll give you $300 to let me go,” he reportedly told the homeowner.

The town was on high alert hours before Turner’s arrest. Police issued a warning after local officers reported they were being shot at and had to be rescued by an armored vehicle.
Authorities were also called on June 18 after a witness reported seeing someone jumping on roofs in the area. They did not find a suspect until John told them that Turner was in his attic.
The suspect was charged with one felony charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety (use of a dangerous weapon), a felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon, and one felony count of armed burglary, per TMJ4.
He appeared in court on June 23, 2023, and had his cash bond set at $30,000, per Fox 6.

Vile messages mom sent her boyfriend about teaching her 3-year-old son how to ‘be a man’ prior to boy’s tragic death
By Asiya Ali
As reported by NBC News, three-year-old Elijah Vue was reported missing on February 20 by his caretaker at the time, Jesse Vang, who was in a relationship with his mother, Katrina Baur.
Vang alleged to authorities that he noticed the toddler was missing when he woke up from a nap at his home in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, per The Independent.

Over the months, investigators scoured the city and recovered numerous pieces of evidence, including a plaid blanket that contained Elijah’s DNA.
On September 7, the little boy’s remains were discovered in a “thick wooded area” by a hunter “getting his land ready for the hunting season,” Benjamin Meinnert, Two Rivers chief of police, said, per CNN.
The area was reportedly 3 miles from Vang’s residence, where the toddler was reportedly last seen.
The chief medical examiner of Fond du Lac County filed a report indicating that the three-year-old’s cause of death was “homicide by unspecified means,” as cited by the outlet.

According to a complaint filed by Manitowoc County prosecutors, obtained by ABC 15 News, investigators uncovered disturbing text messages and photos between Elijah’s mom and her boyfriend.
A heartbreaking picture shared between the couple over Facebook allegedly showed Elijah “standing in corner in diaper only, hands appear to be in a praying position and the diaper looks full”.
The complaint also highlights a chilling conversation between the pair, dated to have taken place on February 17, in which Vang tells Baur he “is angry that [Elijah] overfilled his diaper with poop and pee,” so he gave Elijah “a cold shower.”
Vang noted in another message that the toddler “was clean but scared”.

Another section of the complaint stated that on February 18, at approximately 4:36AM, Vang messaged Baur: “I told you to trust me… I’m a make sure he hates me and being here’. She responded: ‘Don’t want him to *hate* YOU. Just fear you’.”
Vang replied: “It’s ok. Someone had to be the bad person,” to which the three-year-old’s mom said: “I know but either way at he can fear you and respect you.” Vang then responded that Elijah “did fear me..but he didn’t respect me..now I’m making him respect me'”.
Baur revealed in an interview with cops that her boyfriend was the “enforce[r] of the rules in the relationship” which is why she sent her child to “stay with” him.
In addition to this, she wanted Vang to teach [Elijah] by example on “how to be a man”.
Elijah’s mom is facing charges of chronic neglect of a child resulting in death, neglecting a child, and resisting or obstructing an officer, police announced.
Meanwhile, Vang has been charged with physical abuse of a child, repeated acts causing death, hiding a corpse, and resisting or obstructing an officer.
“Elijah was a young boy whose life was tragically cut short,” Manitowoc County District Attorney Jacalyn LaBre said.
“This has been a complex investigation, involving meticulous review of hundreds of pages of police reports, video evidence, and other materials. This is an incredibly tragic situation that has shaken our community,” LaBre added.

More than $100K raised for Arkansas dad who allegedly killed man after finding him alone in car with his missing 14-year-old daughter
By Asiya Ali
Over $100,000 has been raised for the Arkansas dad who allegedly killed a man after finding him alone with his missing 14-year-old daughter.
As previously reported, The Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home after being notified of a missing child on October 8.
While authorities were en route to the scene, they were told that the teen’s father, Aaron Spencer, had located his daughter in a car with 67-year-old Michael Fosler.

According to the police department, a confrontation between the two men ensued, resulting in a fatal shooting.
“Deputies immediately initiated an investigation. Michael Fosler was pronounced dead at the scene, and Aaron Spencer was taken into custody,” the statement read, per Too Fab.
The 36-year-old father is now facing a “preliminary charge” of first-degree murder, a Class Y felony, and was booked into the Lonoke County Detention Center.
Jail records show Spencer has since posted bail and was released on Wednesday, October 9.
A woman named Heather Spencer, who identified herself as Spencer’s wife and the mother of the 14-year-old, has spoken out on Facebook.
On October 9, she claimed that Fosler “had a no-contact order for stalking/graping our child,” and alleged that the deceased man “was waiting 6-9 felonies” and was “looking at the rest of his pathetic life in jail,” when he reached out to the teen while free on bond.
The Independent reports that the mom also shared some more details on a since-removed GiveSendGo campaign, writing that the family reported their daughter missing after they were woken up by her dog, which they said was “unusual.”
“This is unusual and caused us to check on her. In that moment we lived every parent’s biggest fear as we realized our teen child was missing,” Heather reportedly penned. “We frantically searched our home/property and started calling friends, family, and 911. My husband immediately got into his truck to go blindly searching for our child.”
The mom said it was down to “God’s never failing grace” that her husband was able to catch up with Fosler. She also allegedly opened up about the shooting: “As soon as the predator knew my husband was behind him, he ran. The chase ended in an accident.
“Aaron was able to retrieve our child alive, but in the process, he was attacked and did what he had to do to protect himself and our minor child,” she added, per the outlet.
On Monday (October 14), Heather announced on her social media that more than $100,000 had been raised for her husband’s legal fees in less than a week.
“We have been able to secure legal counsel and are hopeful that we will be able to fight this charge,” she wrote.
The mom said there are no GoFundMe pages for her family, and any of them that claim to be associated with the family are illegitimate. She also added that the family has closed the GiveSendGo fundraiser as they have exceeded their goal.
They are still accepting donations through the Gun Owners of Arkansas and will send any funds that are left over after their legal battle to the Wade Knox Children’s Advocacy Center.
“It’s truly unbelievable the amount of support we have received, not just locally, but from strangers all over the world. If there has been any light in this, it has been the public response and outpouring of charity. It seems we all still agree that children deserve our protection,” Heather wrote.
She concluded her post by asking for “continued prayers as we try and navigate a world that, for us, will never be the same”.

Husband of woman who allegedly murdered their three children reveals the three questions he asked her each morning to check her mental state
By Asiya Ali
Tragedy struck on January 24, 2023, when Patrick Clancy, the father of Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight-month-old Callan, went out to the CVS store and left his children alone with his wife, Lindsey.
When the father returned home after less than an hour, he found his seriously injured wife lying in their backyard, as reported by The New Yorker.
Patrick soon discovered that his wife hurled herself out of their home’s second-story window after she allegedly killed Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
The grieving father recalled the conversation he had with Lindsey, asking her: “What did you do?” to which she allegedly responded: “I tried to kill myself.” He then asked where their children were, and she said: “In the basement,” per the outlet.
He called emergency services and then went into the basement where he found his kids with exercise bands still around their necks, and attempted to resuscitate them.
Despite his best efforts to save them, Cora and Dawson were pronounced dead while Callan tragically passed away a few days later.

According to NBC News, Lindsey’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington argued that his client suffered from postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis – which is a condition that affects “a person’s sense of reality, causing hallucinations, delusions, paranoia or other behavior changes,” per Cleveland Clinic.
However, prosecutors contended that the suspect was told she didn’t have any symptoms of postpartum depression when she was evaluated. She was instead diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder when she sought help in the weeks leading up to the children’s deaths.
The father of the three deceased children opened up about his heartbreak in an exclusive interview with The New Yorker, telling the outlet that his wife’s mental health seemed to be improving in mid-January.
He recalled the questions he asked her each morning, which were: “How are you feeling? How did you sleep?” the outlet reported. On the tragic day the children died, Lindsay told Patrick that she was feeling “good” and that she’d slept “pretty well”.
The father, who had had a busy day of work, left his wife in charge of their kids and even allowed her to take Cora to the doctor with a stomach ache. He hoped the visit would help her come “back to reality” after weeks of improving.
Lindsey, who was a labor nurse, has been charged with two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation, and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Despite admitting to killing her children, she has pleaded not guilty to the charges she’s facing.
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington has said the mom is paralyzed below the waist because of a spinal cord injury and a broken back and ribs she sustained during the attempted suicide.
He said that she remains under 24/7 suicide watch. “She’s extremely emotional. However, she’s unable, and has been unable, to express any happiness or sadness or cry,” Reddington added.
A date for Lindsey’s trial has not yet been set.
