Journalist Kjersti Flaa recently shared a throwback clip that she claims was the “most uncomfortable situation” she’s ever faced. With a caption like “The Blake Lively interview that made me want to quit my job,” it’s clear this wasn’t just another day in the press room.

In the clip, Flaa, who was interviewing Lively and Parker Posey about their film 2016 “Cafe Society,” was visibly caught off guard. At the time, Lively was pregnant with her second child, a fact Flaa acknowledged with a congratulatory comment. “First of all, congrats on your little bump,” Flaa, said at the beginning of the interview.

But instead of the expected thank you, Lively responded with a perplexing, “Congrats on your little bump.” The situation grew more tense when Flaa tried to keep the conversation on track. She asked the duo about their experiences wearing period costumes for the film since the setting was in the 1930s.

Rather than engaging with the question, Lively took a combative turn. “Everyone wants to talk about the clothes, but I wonder if they would ask the men about the clothes,” she said, seemingly irritated by the inquiry.

Flaa, maintaining her composure, replied, “I would.” However, Lively and Posey seemed to ignore her. They engaged in their own side conversation and left the journalist hanging.

Sharing her frustrations in the YouTube description box, Flaa asked a question that has since ignited reactions from fans. She questioned, “Is it not OK to congratulate someone on their pregnancy or to ask another woman about costumes she is wearing in a film?” urging viewers to share their thoughts in the comments.

The revived interview quickly went viral, sparking a wave of criticism aimed at Lively. “I can’t believe how rude Blake Lively is,” one viewer commented. Another added, “When she immediately pretended to be offended by the clothes question?”

Someone else called out Lively for her “insane behavior” and claimed she was “really showing her true colors.” Some viewers expressed sympathy for Flaa, with one writing, “So sorry this happened to you. It’s absolutely terrible the way they treated you.”
However, there were also defenders of the actress, with one user noting, “Not a Blake Lively fan, but the hate train against her is so weird right now.” The drama surrounding the interview wasn’t enough.

Recent rumors of a feud between Lively and her “It Ends with Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni, have added another layer of intrigue. With Lively at the center of a media storm, it seems her current film project and past encounters are generating more buzz than ever.

Blake Lively stars in the new movie “It Ends With Us,” based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel of the same name. In the romance drama movie, Lively plays Lily Bloom, a woman caught in an abusive relationship with Ryle, portrayed by Baldoni.
Meanwhile, Baldoni, known for his role in “Jane the Virgin” hasn’t appeared with his co-stars at the premieres. This has fueled speculation about behind-the-scenes tensions even as the actor chooses to promote the film solo.

Despite this speculation, Baldoni has engaged with fans. He even shared a hilarious video of a fan encounter at the airport and another where he surprised fans at a movie theatre in Sweden.
Baldoni has earned praise for his serious approach to the film’s themes. In interviews, he has addressed domestic violence directly, emphasizing, “Everybody has the ability to end a cycle that they didn’t ask for. We can all say it ends with us in our life.”
His dedication has been applauded by fans with comments like, “Thank you so much for being the ONLY person on this cast promoting the actual point of this film.” Another supporter remarked, “The ONLY one promoting DV awareness. Justin deserved better.”

Others showed their solidarity with, “We stand with u.” While Baldoni has tackled the subject of domestic violence in his interviews, Lively has faced criticism for not taking the film’s theme seriously during her promotional tour.
Her responses in interviews have led to a backlash, with some questioning her commitment to the film’s message.
