Their sprawling French winery has become a battlefield, with ownership and control as the primary weapons. In addition, the exes’ biggest struggle has been navigating the complex landscape of co-parenting their six children. They share Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

Allegations of physical abuse, tension-filled name changes, and the media frenzy swirling around the Jolie-Pitt clan have made the past few years challenging.

The situation has now gotten the attention of Angelina’s father. Speaking candidly to Fox News, the veteran actor delivered a message aimed straight at Brad, offering his thoughts on the ongoing family rift.

“I wish they’d find a way to make peace,” Voight said. “The kids need some stability. I love the kids, and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up to do, you know what he has to do. End this nonsense.”

Earlier this year, Brad found himself in an unexpected and slightly awkward encounter with Angelina’s brother, James Haven, and her father, Jon. The run-in occurred during a small gallery exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills, where Brad was enjoying a low-key date night with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.

According to an onlooker, the Oscar-winning actor was seen laughing and joking with a friend, just a few feet away from his former in-laws. The tension in the room was noticeable. Since the gallery space was small, many attendees picked up on the awkwardness of the situation.

While James acknowledged Brad, the two did not engage in any conversation and kept to separate groups for the remainder of the event. The source added that whispers circulated throughout the gallery about the surprising run-in. Many speculated that Brad was unaware his former in-laws would be attending the exhibition opening.
In 2021, Jon publicly extended his well wishes to Brad as the actor battled struggles with alcohol. Jon, who has been vocal about his hopes for peace within the family, shared his prayers for Brad.

Brad and Angelina were married for two years before Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. This was after an alleged physical altercation on a plane that marked the end of their 12-year relationship. The former couple was declared legally single in 2019. However, their legal battles, particularly concerning their children and shared assets, have continued.

In 2022, Angelina was granted sole physical custody of some of their children who were still minors, which at the time included Shiloh. This was after Brad had briefly been awarded joint custody. While Brad was later permitted custodial time, the current state of their custody agreement is uncertain.

In June 2020, Angelina publicly explained that her decision to leave Pitt was for the well-being of their children. In addition to their custody disputes, their French winery, Château Miraval, has become a focal point of their ongoing legal conflict.

In 2022, Brad sued Angelina for breach of contract after she sold her 50% stake in Miraval to Tenute Del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli group, in 2021. The sale effectively transferred her ownership interest in the winery, which the former couple once shared.

In July, court documents obtained by Fox News revealed that Angelina’s legal team argued she and her children were “victims of Pitt’s purportedly ‘private’ abuse and cover-up.”

Her attorneys insisted that when Angelina sold her share of Miraval, she was not acting with malice or intending to retaliate against Brad over any custody ruling.

Additionally, Angelina and Brad’s legal drama keeps taking surprising twists. Recent claims against Angelina surfaced through a statement from Tony Webb, owner of SRS Global, a security company that provided personal protection for the actress. Tony, employed under Angelina from 2000 to 2020, shared insights from his experience.

“One of the two individuals, Ross Foster, specified that he intended to testify regardless of the NDA if he received a court subpoena,” Tony stated. He further revealed disturbing details about the potential testimony.

“When Mr. Foster told me this, he also told me that if asked, he would testify about statements he overheard that Ms. Jolie made to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits,” he claimed.

This revelation has sparked a fierce reaction across social media platforms, with many expressing dismay at Angelina Jolie. Others showed concern over the potential impact on the Jolie-Pitt children.

“The fact that she cannot see the harm this is doing to their kids is just shocking,” one person commented. This was echoed by another commenter who noted, “It’s probably why Shiloh is moving in with her father now… She’s realized her mother is vindictive and has been trying to alienate them from Brad for years.”

The debate over Angelina’s actions has also led some to reflect on the cyclical nature of such behavior, attributing it to her tumultuous upbringing. “Her childhood was similar from what I read. Maybe she can’t break that perpetual cycle or doesn’t want to,” one claimed.

Another added, “She never really had a real relationship with her own father, so I am not surprised how she is distancing the kids from theirs.” Despite the public’s critical perception, Angelina has continually strived to embody the role of a nurturing, attentive mother.

This is, a commitment deeply rooted in the lessons taught by her own mom. In a candid revelation made back in 2011, Angelina shared insights into her parenting approach, which is heavily influenced by the relationship she cherished with her mother. Angelina emphasized the importance of not just being a parent but also a friend to her children.

She highlighted the invaluable connection she experienced through open communication and shared activities with her mother. This foundation has guided her in fostering a similar bond with her children, ensuring that despite their diverse backgrounds, they feel united as a family.
