Because of the contentious debates and cutting comments that are pushed on ABC’s The View, the show is seen as having a poor reputation. Opponents contend that the hosts put their own political agendas ahead of fruitful discussions. The show makes an attempt to draw viewers in with thought-provoking remarks and debates, but despite this, its future is uncertain, especially in light of Disney’s plans to exit the struggling channel.

During a recent appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, pop culture figure Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi garnered notice for her candid remarks on Joy Behar, a co-host of The View. When asked about her encounters with different  celebs, Snooki candidly shared her opinions about Behar, surprising Cohen with her candor.

Snooki claimed that in the fourteen years since she rose to stardom on “Jersey Shore,” Behar was the “rudest celebrity” she had ever met.

Looked surprised, Cohen asked Snooki once again if Behar had been “rude” to her.

Without hesitation, the MTV personality said, “Joy was so mean to me.”

Cohen pressed forward, eager to find out more. “She caught me off guard in the restroom!” Before continuing, Snooki said, “And said, ‘You’re not Italian!’”

Cohen then enquired as to the co-host of “Messyness”‘s response to the purported exchange. I said, “Okay, ma’am.” Snooki answered.

Snooki did not say when she had her unpleasant interaction with Behar, although she did share a video around the beginning of 2011 making fun of The View star. Snooki and her best friend Farley were shown in the since-deleted video posing as elderly Jewish women, as reported by TMZ. Snooki portrayed “Joy B” in the video and discussed how “trashy” Snooki was.

The pair mocked Behar in the video, calling her a “Italian wannabe” and said that her youth during “the Great Depression” was wrecked by youngsters like them.

Later on, Snooki said, the video was removed because too many people took it too seriously.
