Have you ever had the impression that something was wrong with your eyes? That sensation you get when you’re trying to understand something and you just can’t seem to get it? You are not alone, though.
Look at the image down below. To your surprise, eight out of ten people would not know what to see if someone were to show it to them and ask them to describe it.
Upon social media sharing of this image, a lot of people failed this easy insight test. It turns out that they were seeing something that didn’t even exist, even if they weren’t sure what they were seeing.
The majority of folks mistook them for Legos, although that couldn’t be farther from the reality. A helicopter pilot actually took the photo in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
What you’re actually seeing is a large number of buses that have been retired from service. Since they’re all kept in one place, it’s quite the sight. When the photo got widespread on the internet, very few people were able to correctly predict it.
How did you do, then? Consider this little insight test for a moment, and be amazed at the tricks our eyes can perform on us.
