Cardi B has announced her third pregnancy.
The Bodak Yellow rapper recently filed for divorce from Offset, whom she shares two children.
The mother-of-two filed the divorce papers after seven years of marriage on Thursday.
The rapper is reportedly seeking primary custody of their children Kulture, five, and Wave, two.
The rap star’s rep confirmed to Page Six the news that the couple have officially parted ways.
A source told the publication: “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
They claimed Offset wasn’t caught off guard by the divorce, saying they’ve “been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now.”
The insider continued: “It’s not something that happened overnight… They’ve both been on the same page.”
“There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger overtime. It’s become unavoidable.”
In an unexpected turn of events, Cardi has now announced that she is pregnant.
Posting to Instagram, the rapper wrote: “With every ending comes a new beginning!”
I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
