This past Sunday, Hollywood star Dennis Quaid, 69, and his son Jack Quaid, 31, were father and son goals. The duo attended the 2024 Golden Globes, and media of the two, who were dressed in style, showed the uncanny resemblance between Dennis and Jack.

Although Dennis smiled widely, showing all his pearly whites, Jack’s smile was slightly more demure. The two even share the same grin. Like “The Rookie” star, Jack has forged a career in the entertainment industry, following in the footsteps of both his dad and mom, Meg Ryan.

As part of the reason why asking for advice is something he has never done, Jack explained that the industry has changed so much since his parents’ era and spoke about things working differently, especially when it came to constraints imposed by the pandemic.
However, his parents have always supported his desire to become an actor, as he stated, “It’s lucky that I got to grow up saying, ‘Hey I want to be an actor’ and they understood that.”

Additionally, although Jack was never one to ask his parents for assistance, reportedly, his dad had tried to help him once by setting Jack up with his agent. Jack respectfully declined, citing that he wanted to make it on his own. Nonetheless, Dennis is proud of his son.

In an interview the doting father sat down for in 2020, he mentioned that by age four, Jack had already been making videos on his recording device, which he would always carry around. Dennis also said that since his son was a kid, it became apparent that he would grow up to act.
