As most people know, high school students in the U.S. are usually under 21, so they’re not legally allowed to drink. In the UK, the legal drinking age is 18, but even there, bringing alcohol to school events with minors is not allowed.

However, some students still try to sneak alcohol into prom and enjoy the night with a bit of rule-breaking.

Prom chaperones are usually good at keeping an eye out for any alcohol use, but sometimes students find clever ways to sneak in drinks.

This story is a perfect example of that! A senior at prom, Eleanor Clarke, was posing for a picture while holding what looked like a stylish silver clutch bag. But here’s the twist: it wasn’t a clutch at all—it was actually an oversized flask!

At first, it seemed like she was just carrying a fancy bag, but if you looked closely, you’d see it was something else entirely.

Eleanor, a British student, wasn’t about to let rules stop her from having fun with her friends. She wore a beautiful gown and carried what appeared to be a metallic clutch bag, but it was really a large flask she could easily fill with liquid!

She even joked about it later on social media, saying, “Still don’t know how I got away with a huge hip flask as my prom clutch.” She bought the flask for $12 and cleverly disguised it, so no one realized what it really was until she shared her secret.

This is such a funny story! We wish Eleanor and her friends the best as they move on to the next chapter of their lives. What do you think of this story? Do you have a similar one? Share it with us in the comments.
