While social media users may have been obsessing over pictures of the Glasgow Wonka event, attention has quickly turned to something a little more regal.
Yes, Kate Middleton’s Mother’s Day photo – obviously.
A photo of the Princess of Wales was released yesterday (10 March) for the first time since Christmas Day, after a whole lot of questioning about her whereabouts.
But it seemed to cause a whole new kind of headache as people quickly spotted some ‘strange’ details that didn’t seem right about the snap.
Social media users pointed out multiple issues, from Prince Louis ‘missing a finger’ to ‘Charlotte’s wrist’.
And the Royal released a statement this morning (11 March) admitting she’d edited it.
The Princess included: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.
“I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.”

LADbible spoke to graphic designer Josh Sandhu, of the Grove Gallery, about the odd image.
“These sorts of things happen, but it’s a bit of surprise that no eyes caught the errors when it was sent to the press. In my opinion, what happened here is evidently there’s multiple shots here to produce a composite image,” he claimed.
“They have likely picked the best shot from Kate’s face and the children’s faces, then stitched things together in Photoshop.”
Sandhu said while this type of thing ‘isn’t unusual’ it’s ‘odd’ that it wasn’t caught initially.
The experienced graphic designer explained that it would have been ‘approved multiple times by the Royal Family and their team’.
“It is fairly shocking it’s managed to get through and indeed has caused a major stir,” he added.

Sandhu reckons they might have sent a working image instead of the final one but ‘either way it’s a monumental error’.
He added: “I imagine a number of people will now be held accountable.”
Kate has been absent from Royal duties and the public for several weeks, following her ‘planned abdominal surgery’ in January. It is possible this takes quite some time to recover from.
According to Page Six, representatives for the Princess of Wales issued a statement saying she was ‘doing well’.
