A family from New Jersey is very sad because their 6-year-old daughter, Lucy Morgan, passed away in a very unusual accident while they were on vacation.

The accident happened while Lucy was watching her family play badminton. During the game, one of the racquets broke and a piece of metal from it hit Lucy on her head very hard. This caused a very serious injury to her brain.

Lucy’s father, Pastor Jesse Morgan, wrote about this sad event on his blog, New Creation Living. He said that June 1st seemed like a normal day during their vacation in Limerick, Maine. But something terrible happened that day, and now he believes Lucy is in heaven with Jesus.

When Lucy got hurt, her family realized it was very serious. Jesse wrote on his blog that after the metal piece hit Lucy, she didn’t respond anymore, but she was still breathing. Lucy’s mom, Bethany Morgan, went with her in an ambulance to a small hospital nearby. From there, Lucy was taken by helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland. Everyone knew Lucy’s life was in danger.

A family from New Jersey is going through a very sad time after their 6-year-old daughter, Lucy Morgan, passed away following a tragic accident while they were on vacation.

Lucy was watching her family play badminton when part of a racquet broke and hit her head. The injury was very serious, and Lucy had to undergo surgery immediately after arriving at the hospital. Despite the doctors’ efforts, Lucy did not recover.

Before the accident, Lucy had told her parents she wanted to be saved and live with God. She prayed for forgiveness and believed in Jesus’ life and resurrection just a month earlier.

Despite everyone’s hopes and prayers, Lucy’s condition did not improve, and she passed away early in the morning a few days after the accident.

Since then, the family has received an outpouring of love and support from their community. People have been sharing kind words on social media and have donated generously to a GoFundMe page set up to help the family with expenses. The fundraiser has raised more than $125,000, far surpassing its original goal.

Jesse Morgan, Lucy’s father, has been deeply touched by the support, and friends and former colleagues have spoken highly of him and his family during this difficult time.

Jill Anthony, the organizer, said, “This page is here to give them a lot of money to help pay for food, places to stay for family, medical bills… anything they need.”

Anthony wrote again later: “On June 5, Lucy died and went to heaven. Please keep praying for the Morgans as they go through the days, weeks, months, and years without Lucy.”

We’re thinking of the Morgan family during this sad time.
