Debra Byrd, a singer and vocal instructor, passed away. Her age was seventy-two.
Tuesday, the celebrity passed away at her Los Angeles residence. She had appeared on popular programs such as American Idol and The Voice.
According to Deadline, Debra’s precise cause of death is still unknown.
Remarkable tributes to Debra’s life have been offered by a number of well-known figures, including her longtime friend and colleague Barry Manilow.
Barry shared a depressing post with his social media followers.
“Today is the saddest I’ve ever felt in my life.” He wrote, “I just can’t imagine the thought of Debra not being with me anymore.”
“She was one of my greatest friends ever, and I will always miss you, my love.”
Debra had collaborated with many well-known artists, including Bob Dylan, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Hudson.
Jennifer posted her sympathies on Twitter’s former platform, X.
“Saddened by the loss of American Idol’s vocal coach Debra Byrd,” she expressed.
She provided us with encouragement and hope right away!
How much she taught us is astounding. Although many musicians were influenced by her throughout her lifetime, her music continues to this day, and she will be greatly mourned.
She then added, “Debra, rest in peace.”
Jennifer rose to fame in 2004 after competing alongside Debra in the American Idol finals.
Alumni like Clay Aiken expressed their gratitude to Debra for her assistance.
“To say that no one was a better mentor, coach, teacher, or champion to us Idol contestants than Byrd was, I don’t think it would be an exaggeration,” he posted on the internet.
