Two twins who have gained a substantial social media following have revealed one intimate detail about their underwear habits…
Brigette and Danielle Pheloung, both 27, are known for their content on fashion, lifestyle, and fitness.
The pair often share their outfits of the day (OOTDs) and daily routines on social media.
As is the case with most influencers, the twins appear on podcasts from time to time to discuss their lives.
But despite being influencers, it’s evident that not every aspect of their life is something that people want to follow.
As they made very clear on the Gals on the Go podcast.
It turns out that the twins are very close with each other, and this means overstepping some boundaries that make others recoil in horror.
“Do you want to know something crazy?” Brigette teased during the September 11 episode, before hesitating.
“Wait, I’m actually embarrassed to say this,” she added, looking down nervously.
“We only have one bra,” Brigette confessed, as she sat beside her sister Danielle.
The hosts, Danielle Carolan and Brooke Miccio, were visibly shocked, responding with laughter and disbelief.
But the surprises didn’t stop there.
Danielle Pheloung quickly chimed in, adding: “And we share underwear.”
“Oh, that’s crazy!” Carolan exclaimed, echoing the surprise many listeners felt.
The sisters revealed that they even have a “shared drawer” where their underwear is kept.
Explaining the “one bra” comment, Brigette clarified: “We only have one bra because we don’t wear bras. But whenever we need a bra, we’re fighting over it.”
Danielle elaborated further, saying they technically have two bras – one nude and one black – but joked that it still feels like they only have one between them.
“So it’s basically like having one bra,” Brigette reasoned, adding that podcast listeners are likely going to think the twins are “weird as f***.”
When asked why they share underwear, Danielle attributed it to their close bond.
“We’ve never been apart,” she said, emphasizing the connection they share as identical twins.
After the podcast, the twins leaned into the controversy, posting a TikTok video that poked fun at the situation.
In the video, the sisters jokingly fought over a nude-colored bra, with the caption: “If ykyk” (if you know, you know).
The overlay text read: “How you guys expected us to act the second we decided we were moving away from each other.”
It’s safe to say, some of the comments were not in the twins’ favor, with some people stating they were “disgusted”, while another said: “My twin and I don’t even hug let alone share underwear. No. Straight to jail.”
A second said: “I don’t even share bikini bottoms with my friends lol so underwear is a hard no.”
However, if you are one of the “disgusted” few, you’ll be surprised to know that this is apparently quite common with twins.
“As a twin, this is so true we do the same thing we don’t have one we have multiples and then we just share them,” another comment read.
A second person added: “I’m a twin… and these are facts,” with a third saying: “This is factual as a twin.”
