Famous for his parts in The Shining, Chinatown, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Jack Nicholson is generally considered to be one of the best actors of his generation.
His customary courtside spot at Lakers games, nevertheless, was as famous to Los Angeles sports fans. The three-time Oscar winner was a staple for basketball fans, particularly during big games, because he never changed his position.

For many years, Jack Nicholson has cheered on the Los Angeles Lakers. The Associated Press reports that Nicholson began purchasing season tickets in 1970 and would even rearrange his Hollywood filming schedule to visit major games.
The actor has long been a courtside fixture at Lakers home games, donning his trademark shades. The return of Jack to the court after such a long hiatus must have been a huge relief for the fans.
