Kate Middleton is continuing to recuperate from the cancer she was diagnosed with in February. She revealed her diagnosis to the world in mid-March, and she made her royal comeback only a few weeks ago during Trooping the Colour. While the royals live a highly public life, they face the same issues as everybody else.
One of those difficulties for Prince William and Kate has been their children’s future, namely where their oldest son and future monarch, Prince George, will go to school poster.
According to reports, the Prince and Princess of Wales have differing opinions about where George should enrol. Unfortunately, Kate Middleton’s reasoning is ingrained in her childhood—and the last thing she wants is for George to endure the same tragedies as she did.
Kate Middleton had a wonderful upbringing with her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who were wealthy business owners. As a result, it was not surprising that they were able to enrol their daughter in a top-tier school.
Despite the fact that everything appeared to be in order at first, things quickly went wrong. Kate Middleton originally enrolled at Downe House, an all-girls boarding school, which was intended to be a crucial step towards acquiring what she required for adulthood. However, the school, for which Carole and Michael reportedly paid over £28,000 in tuition, turned out to be a nightmare for Kate.
Last year, the Mirror suggested that then-Prince Charles may have attended Eton as well. However, Prince Philip said that it was too close to Windsor and that he would have had no privacy. According to In Touch Weekly, Kate hesitantly agreed to Prince George’s request to be “just like his father” and attend Eton.
But it’s not something she would have chosen in the first place, given her own boarding school experience. “But she is still heartbroken.” “She was horribly bullied at her first boarding school and can’t bear the thought of George going through it,” a source added.
Meanwhile, a source told the news site that George will be able to visit his family every weekend. It’s a mere five-minute drive from their Windsor home. However, Kate is still concerned that she will miss him terribly.
According to a source, “Kate thinks sending George to such a stuffy, upper-crust institution goes against all of their efforts to modernise the monarchy.” “Kate has long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it’s tradition,” the insider said, adding that Kate is “finally giving in” to her husband’s demands.
