It killed a chef who was putting a flower on his mother’s grave.
After having an allergic reaction, Marc Pavel started having a lot of trouble breathing as he drove home.
He pulled over about a hundred yards from his house and got out of the car to call for help.
He fell down before he could find anyone, though.
People in the area found Marc, 47, lying on the ground. When medics arrived, they found that he had passed out from anaphylaxis caused by the wasp sting.
After bringing him back to life, they took him to a hospital in Trieste, Italy.
However, his health got worse, and he went into a coma before passing away four days after being stung at the cemetery.
Marc’s mother died in 2019, and he won the title of Cook of the Year in his area in 2012.
