Javi Lopez recently took a vacation and decided to have some fun with his travel memories. He put a video feed through an AI generator and shared the results with X, stating he’s “pretty sure I’ll have nightmares for life.” Incredibly, his post has over 13 million views, likes, and reposts.

Lopez’s video is a compilation of various adventures he took, such as jumping off the dock of what appears to be a houseboat. Suddenly, he sprouts water jets from his feet and blasts off over the water. Eventually, he hits the water and emerges as a dinosaur or dragon with webbed feet, who suddenly goes surfing and morphs into several other bizarre shapes before becoming a giant pink glob. The video continues taking several other captivating, if not confusing, or bizarre turns and ends with a dog floating through the air.

The AI failure gave little insight into what took place on the trip and interfered with the stunning scenery. However, it created an amusing short that became a sensation on X. Lopez shared a video that captivated and confused audiences but his story isn’t the only example of AI fails.

Someone asked AI to generate images of fishermen; this is the terrifying result. Although the scenery in the background is beautiful, giving foggy fall vibes, the focal point is the “fisherman” who doesn’t exactly look like either. Rather, it’s a fish’s head on a human’s body.

This image is another example of AI fails, regarding aquatic life. AI is becoming more advanced with time, yet the above image proves, there’s still a long way to go.

Oddly, there aren’t any dolphins in the image, and nothing is jumping from the water. Rather, it appears as if a female human is swimming through the water but she has turtle fins rather than arms. It’s a very confusing image that proves AI fails occasionally.

Someone explained this is a character they’re working on and AI fails once again, this time when asked to create a character with a “cocky expression.” Some AI fails are the stuff of nightmares.

While some AI Fails are dark and creepy, others like this “Australian Capybara Burnout Competition” are adorable and hilarious.
