On her wedding day, Jill Haddad Hawkins awoke filled with excitement mingled with nausea. She assumed it was just usual pre-wedding anxiousness. As the ceremony began, Jill had difficulties articulating her vows. She was walking down the aisle in such agony that she could barely stand. The reception was much more awful. Looking at the wedding photos, you’d never know.
Following the wedding ceremony, Jill, her new husband, and their bridal party gathered at the beach for photos with the wedding photographer. The group smiled cheerfully as waves crashed behind them. From the outside, Jill appeared radiant and relaxed. However, she was sent to the hospital in an ambulance shortly after the reception.
Her guests were surprised to learn that she had needed emergency surgery all day. It found out that Jill had been suppressing her awful suffering since she was a teenager, so she was not unfamiliar with it. It decided to hide its ugly head till, of all days, the wedding. The hospital personnel were surprised to hear that Jill survived the wedding when they checked her.
