Giving His Memory Respect As Meghan Markle opens a new charity wing, she writes a heartbreaking tribute to her “beloved friend” who died suddenly.

Meghan Markle spoke about her “beloved” dog trainer friend Oli Juste when she opened a new wing at an animal charity in London.

In honor of the animal behaviorist’s name being given to a new rescue wing, the Duchess of Sussex sent a personal video message to him.

The recording of the duchess was played for guests at the opening of the Oli Juste Wing at Mayhew’s center in north London on Wednesday. Guests included actors Nigel Harman, Rula Lenska, Beatie Edney, and Laura Aikman.

The sudden death of Oli in January 2022 made it possible for the new, refurbished kennels. Mayhew said that his “dear friend” Meghan’s “generous” donation through her Archewell Foundation would help carry on Oli’s legacy.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the wonderful team at Mayhew who have worked so hard to make this dream come true,” the duchess wrote in her message.

“It was very important to remember Oli in a way that he would have found enjoyable.”

“Mayhew is a beacon of hope for those in need and a shining example of what can be achieved when we work together.”

On Meghan’s sussex.com website, it said of her friendship with Oli, “They shared many things throughout their friendship, among them a deep commitment to animal welfare and a love of rescue dogs.”

It said: “The Oli Juste Wing is a testament to his unwavering love and commitment to our furry friends, and will improve the lives of countless animals, reminding us all of the power of compassion, connection, and care.”

Over the years, the duchess has taken in a number of rescued dogs, such as a Guy, a beagle, and a black Labrador named Pula.

After Guy had an accident, Oli and his fiancé Rob helped take care of him while Meghan moved to the UK.

To Meghan, Oli’s death left her “heartbroken” in 2022.

Before this, Lady Colin Campbell said that Prince Harry and Meghan were “stealing” the Sussex name for their own benefit.

After the launch of their new website, the former “I’m a Celebrity” contestant has put herself in a direct line to run into the pair.

This week, they used their Sussex titles to start sussex.com, which has been called “a betrayal” of their Megxit agreement.

When Harry and Meghan quit their royal duties in 2020, there were already problems between them and other family members.

It turned out that they changed the name of their Archewell site, which now takes you to their new one.
