A woman in Alaska shared a photo of a trans woman in the women’s locker room at the Fairbanks Planet Fitness. She accused the gym of letting ‘men’ into a space she believes should only be for cisgender women.
The original picture showed a transgender woman shaving at a sink in a locker room. The woman who took the picture made an angry video afterward about how upset she was. The video went viral and started a big debate.

As a result, the local Planet Fitness canceled the membership of the woman who took the photo. The transgender person she photographed was not affected. Planet Fitness supported its decision, saying their policy allows people to use the locker room that matches their gender identity.
Planet Fitness said that if people act in bad faith, their memberships could be canceled.
Now, more pictures of the same trans woman using the gym’s locker room are spreading. Conservative people are calling for others to cancel their Planet Fitness memberships across the country.
