Ryan Reynolds has responded to Martha Stewarts claims that “he’s not so funny,” in real life.
The famous chef recently appeared on Bilt Rewards’ November Rent Free gaming show and offered her candid opinions about the Deadpool & Wolverine star.
She was asked, among other things, which celebrities she believed Bilt members named “the most fun to hang out with.”
Martha was right when she assumed her close buddy Snoop Dogg was on the list.
The following person on the list, though, somewhat surprised her.
“He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she asked.
“And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious,” she added.
Now, in an ironically funny way, Ryan has responded to Martha’s claims.
Taking to Instagram, Ryan responded to a tweet by Pop Crave about Marthas qoutes.
“I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry.”
“She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”
During the show, Martha was asked if she would alter the order at all when the final list—which featured Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, and Reynolds—was revealed.
The entrepreneur acknowledged to Ankur Jain, the founder and CEO of Bilt, that she would “take Ryan off it, and I would put in somebody else.”
Martha clarified her prevous comments and said: “He is a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again.”
The chef later joked: “I’m going to get in trouble, he’s my neighbour.”
