Fans were rather taken aback after the Prince of Wales, 42, appeared on camera on Sunday (11 August) evening, where he congratulated Team GB for all their incredible achievements in the Paris Olympics.
The event kicked off on Friday 26 July and it’s fair to say it’s been a pretty eventful games.
First off, everyone was talking about *those* cardboard beds in the Olympics village.
Then there was the swimmer who was sent home after breaking the rules with her boyfriend.
One athlete had his chances ruined in the pole vaulting event after getting a very specific body part caught on the bar.
And not forgetting boxer Imane Khelif, who bagged a gold medal on Friday (9 August) despite an ongoing gender row.
Just today, it was also confirmed that Team USA gymnast Jordan Chiles had been stripped of her bronze medal.
