Princess Catherine Middleton has been seen for the first time since undergoing abdominal surgery.
The photos, albeit grainy, show Kate in a car that her mom, Carole, is driving. Kate is wearing sunglasses and appears to have a touch of a smile on her face.
UPDATE: A spokesperson for the Royal family is speaking out after Kate Middleton’s absence from the public eye has caused several conspiracy theories about her silence to run wild.
Unfortunately, the statement has only fueled people to continue to speculate on Kate’s wellbeing.
“We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant.” The spokesperson then said what so many members of the royal family have said over the last several weeks, that Middleton is “doing well.”
Fans of the Royal Family are worried after Prince William made a last minute decision to not travel to the memorial service being held for his Godfather, the late King Constantine of Greece.
According to several reports, William pulled out of the royal duty due to “personal reasons.” As it has been well documented, the Royal Family has endured a slew of hardships at the start of the new year.
William’s wife, Princess Catharine underwent a substantial abdominal surgery that left her hospitalized for 10 days. As far as the public is aware, Kate is still recovering in private.
It was reported that William would also be stepping away from royal duties until Easter while he aided Kate in her recovery. However, William was asked to report back to duty earlier than anticipated after his father, King Charles, underwent a prostate procedure and was diagnosed with cancer.
