There are some traditions that are passed down from one generation to another. They become a loved part of our lives. Other traditions may be enjoyed, but they aren’t exactly a family event.
This includes the tradition that sometimes takes place at a ballgame when a streaker runs out onto the field and interrupts the fun. In a way, they are also adding to the fun, but they aren’t necessarily a welcome part of the proceedings.
In this particular case, a baseball fan ran out on the field to do some streaking during the sports activities, but he ended up getting tased for his trouble. Some people are saying that he deserved what he got and others were saying they went too far.
It happened on June 11 in the evening when the fan ran onto the field. It was during a game between the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland guardians.
During the ninth-inning, the fan suddenly rushed out onto the field, wearing a Johnny Bench shirt. He then ran out onto the field to cause a nuisance, even stopping to talk to one of the players.
When the police came over to stop the streaker, he did a back flip in front of them. I’ll have to admit, it was an impressive moment and the crowd was even applauding the move.
That is when a second security guard ran out onto the field and decided he had enough of the shenanigans. He pulled a Taser on the streaker and then pulled the trigger, which stopped the running cold.
According to reports after the event, 19-year-old William Hendon had a criminal complaint filed against him for his actions. This would include felony criminal trespass charges and obstructing official business, along with a misdemeanor.
