People everywhere should be aware of the amazing tale of Kelly and Jesse Cottle from San Diego, California. Jesse enlisted in the USMC in 2003 and was stationed in Afghanistan for six years before being sent there to conduct the demining operations.

Unfortunately, Jesse lost his ability to function following an accident. “I couldn’t sleep. It was a real hell, but I always believed I could overcome this terrible situation. I had to keep living. I did it for my family, for my good friends. I kept faith in myself in this difficult situation to overcome,” Jesse recalls that fateful day.

As a matter of fact, if he hadn’t gone to a swimming competition after coming back to the States, he never would have met Kelly. Kelly said, “I remember how interested he was in swimming.” They married after falling in love right away. We hope that this couple’s journey is smooth.
