After days of teasing, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ rumoured collaboration is finally here.

On Friday, August 16th, the global pop stars released a brand-new duet titled Die with a Smile along with a vintage-themed music video.

The visual begins with Bruno Mars singing the lyrics and playing the guitar.

The camera later pans out and reveals Lady Gaga sitting at a piano with a cigarette in her mouth.

The duo, who match in denim and red ensembles, execute flawless harmonies with the band in the background.

Every once in a while, flashing lights amp up the intimate environment, and at one point, Gaga gets up from behind the piano.

The pair confirmed their collaboration on social media just hours before it dropped.

They shared the single cover artwork that sees the two dressed in matching red and blue rodeo outfits.

“WHILE YOU WAIT TILL LG7…’DIE WITH A SMILE’ a duet with @brunomars ❤️‍🔥,” the “Bad Romance” singer captioned an Instagram post on Thursday, referring to her forthcoming seventh studio album.

The duo dropped breadcrumbs about their song on Tuesday when Gaga shared a teaser clip of her playing a slow piano medley on Instagram while sporting a shirt with Bruno Mars’ face on it.

Bruno also fueled rumours by quoting the singer’s post with the wide-eyes emoji.

The following day, the Uptown Funk hitmaker posted a photo of himself pointing to a skull-head graphic tee with her name on it.

Die with a Smile marks Bruno and Lady Gaga’s first song together, but the two have already shared the stage before.

Thd duo both performed on the runway of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris in 2016, where they, along with The Weeknd, performed a medley of their songs live.

The pair’s new single marks their first new release in a while.

Bruno Mars hasn’t dropped a solo LP since 2016’s 24K Magic.

On the other hand, Lady Gaga hasn’t released a new solo album since 2020’s Chromatica.
