Jessica Carter Altman dazzled fans by posting throwback images of her wedding day. The post was in celebration of a significant milestone in her fairly new marriage. Lynda Carter’s daughter is relishing her new role as someone’s wife and also celebrated another achievement related to it in December 2023.

On May 28, 2024, Lynda Carter celebrated her daughter, Jessica Carter Altman’s first wedding anniversary to Ross Uhrich. The actress posted two Instagram photos of the couple dancing and another one of her admiring her daughter’s gown on the special day.
Tagging the couple, she wrote, “Happy 1st Anniversary to Jess and Ross!” Lynda toasted them as they continued “on this beautiful journey of life together” before sharing her immense love for the pair.
Jessica also honored the special day by posting Instagram photos of her and her husband on their wedding day. The pair tied the knot in front of 170 guests in Lake Como, Italy, at Villa Balbiano in Ossuccio.
The couple’s ceremony was coordinated by a close family friend and the former US Ambassador to Germany, John Emerson. One of the photos in Jessica’s Instagram carousel showed Ross dipping her while touching foreheads.

The duo was photographed in a massive garden in front of a building while dressed in their wedding clothes. The second picture showed them looking into each other’s eyes. Ross had his arm around his wife while they stood by a rail with a view of a mountain and a lake.
The third photo was taken at night and showed the couple sharing another romantic moment. This image showed off Jessica’s gorgeous corset-bust gown. The fourth picture was the same one Lynda posted of the duo dancing indoors while guests looked on.

The last photo showed Ross and Lynda’s lookalike daughter popping the cork of a beverage. Jessica captioned the post by tagging her husband and writing, “Happy anniversary my love.”
Alison Miller, Jessica’s friend and a couture veil designer for her company Monvieve, designed the veil and served as a bridal stylist. She gave Lynda’s daughter an introduction to the Jean Paul Gaultier team who designed haute couture items for the bride.

They created the corseted ivory A-line gown and a silk corset with a silk charmeuse skirt. Jessica also wore an indigo Jean Paul Gaultier dress to her wedding, while her husband was dressed in a black Tom Ford tuxedo. However, he changed into a midnight blue one for the reception.
On December 2, 2023, the “Wonder Woman” star’s daughter marked the six-month mark of her marriage to Ross with another Instagram post. The first image showed the couple posing in a doorway while Ross kissed his wife’s hand.
In the picture, Jessica appeared to be wearing a different white dress that also boasted a corset design. The second photo showed her wearing a blue dress while holding hands with her husband and swearing at the camera person.

Judging from her post’s location, these images were also taken at Lake Como. The couple dressed in different clothes for the third carousel picture. This time, they were dancing at night while fireworks went off in the background.
The last picture was a repetition of them dancing indoors after their wedding. Jessica captioned the photos, “Deliriously happy being married to you #HalfAYearDown #ForeverToGo.”
According to reports, the couple was legally married on May 13, 2023. Maryland appellate court judge, Laura S. Ripken, married the couple with their immediate family members as witnesses at an Annapolis court.
After the service, Jessica and her husband enjoyed a meal at the Flamant restaurant in the same city. James Altman, the bride’s brother, walked her down the aisle while a string quartet arrangement of her song, “Clumsy,” played.
The track is significant as she’d written it about falling in love with her husband. Jessica honored her late father, Robert Altman, by having pieces of his shirt sewn inside her gowns. The leftover fabric was used to make a pillow for the couple’s wedding bands.
Ross and his wife even had a cocktail hour for their guests. A jazz band entertained guests with the bride’s father’s favorite songs, one of which was Miles Davis’ “So What.” Explaining why they’d chosen to do this, Jessica said, “We wanted little nods to him that were thoughtful.”
Where they got married was also a nod to Robert. Some years ago, Jessica traveled with him to Lake Como, where they took a walk on the grounds of a hotel on the lake called Villa d’Este.
When Jessica’s father saw a bride on the premises, he asked her if she’d ever consider getting married at the same place or nearby. Upon her return to her room, Jessica told Ross about the conversation. She later stated, “We’ve clung to that idea ever since.”
Speaking of weddings, Jessica’s mother paid tribute to her late husband in January 2024 with an adorable Instagram post. Taking to Instagram, she posted a black and white photo of her and Robert on their January 29, 1984 wedding day.
Lynda was celebrating what would have been their 40th wedding anniversary. In her heartfelt post, the actress confessed to missing him and sharing gratitude to him daily for all he had given them, adding, “I will always love you, Robert… wait for me.”
“I miss him and I thank him every day, for all he gave to us,” she wrote. Instagram followers who saw Carter’s post rushed to the comment section to share their emotions with one stating,” I just know he will be waiting. We still need our wonder woman on earth for a while [sic].”
Another fan who was touched by Lynda’s post, offered her support replying, “I know Robert will wait for you and when the day comes and you reunited (sic) with him, it will be a great time.”
Lynda and Robert had been married for 37 years when blood cancer took him in February 2021. The actress confirmed the late film director and writer’s death through an Instagram post. He is survived by her, Jessica, and her brother, James Altman.
During an interview after suffering the loss, Lynda confessed, “It’s totally frightening.” The star admitted that she didn’t know who she was without her husband. She’s since turned to music to cope with his death. Jessica’s mother keeps his memory alive by posting throwback Instagram photos.
