A famous comedian named Ewen MacIntosh was last seen in a sad post on social media before he died.
People have been paying tribute since the news came out today. The 50-year-old superstar from “The Office” died peacefully.
Fans were worried about the star after he said he was in the hospital and going through “bad times” because of his health problems.
At the time, the star got a lot of messages of support. Max Rushden of talkSPORT told him, “Sending you all the best, mate x.”
After Life actress Holli Dempsey wrote, “Sending love and healing vibes to ya Ewen xx.”
Fans of the show After Life were thrilled to see MacIntosh make a cameo in it a month before the news came out.
The actor made a brief appearance in the third episode. He is known for playing Keith Bishop on The Office with Ricky Gervais.
In the movie After Life, which was also created by Gervais, his character was just called “Buffet Man” in the credits, and he was furious because he was kicked out of an all-you-can-eat restaurant.
Fans went crazy over the role, which was a nice nod to Keith, an accounts clerk who was known for his boring office chats and love of Scotch eggs.
“OMG, KEITH FROM THE OFFICE SHOWS UP IN AFTER LIFE S3,” one person wrote on Twitter.
Another said, “Keith from The Office in the trailer for Afterlife series 3…”How could it get any better?”
“Good to see Keith from The Office making an appearance in season 3 of After Life,” said a third.
“original in every way”
This comes after the comedy star’s management confirmed his sad death this morning in a statement.
JustRight Management sent out the following statement: “It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved comedy genius Ewen MacIntosh.”
The man’s family wants to thank everyone who helped him, especially Willow Green Care Home.
“There will be a private cremation for family & close friends soon & a celebratory memorial later in the year.”
Many people have paid tribute to the star, with Ricky Gervais leading the way.
“Very sad news,” he wrote.
Ewen MacIntosh, who many people knew as “Big Keith” from The Office, was very funny and very nice. He has died.
“An absolute original. RIP.”
This was written by his friend Ed Scott: “I am completely devastated by the loss of my very good friend Ewen MacIntosh.”
“He may have had a famous face known by millions as Keith from The Office but the person inside is what I will most remember.”
“Ewen was so full of empathy, kindness, and integrity, and above all a really good man,” said Mr. Scott, CEO of Dodged A Bullet Music.
“Sending love to his parents Sara and Ewen Sr, his brother Colin and his family, as well as his many friends and fans.”
There are a lot of tributes to The Office on social media.

FUNNY ICON
Keith, played by Ewen, became a fan favorite on The Office because of a series of funny scenes, such as dressing up as Ali G.
On a staff review, he said that his weakness was “eczema,” and he was famous for a famous scene involving a Scotch egg.
Even though the staff at the made-up Wernham Hogg paper company changed a few times, the star stayed until the show’s last episode in 2003.
The actor told Vice in 2021 that he was joking that he didn’t know why Scotch eggs were chosen as his character’s favorite food.
He told me: “The props guy nipped out and bought them last minute.”
Besides After Life, he was in an episode of Come Dine With Me with Charlotte Crosby and Dawn Ward in 2020.
The actor had roles in Miranda and Little Britain, and in 2007 he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
