Pamela Anderson has been taking the beauty industry by storm ever since she decided to ditch her glam team and show off her natural beauty across a range of star-studded events.
The former Playboy model made headlines back in September last year after appearing at Isabel Marant Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 during Paris Fashion Week donning a bare face.
The 57-year-old, typically known for her stylish red carpet looks, wore a striking yellow high-neck dress for the fashion event but chose to keep her long blonde hair loose by her shoulders and not wear any make-up as she posed for photographs.
Speaking to PEOPLE in an interview after the iconic moment, the star said that she didn’t expect it to garner as much attention as it did, but she was glad it became a “positive message.”
“I’m makeup-free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week?”, she told the outlet. “I really didn’t know anyone would notice it, but I’m glad it became a positive message.”
Anderson also stated proudly that she’s not too deterred by this idea of “aging” and instead she sees it as a natural process of life.
“I call it life-ing, not aging,” she said. “Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now.”

The actress revealed that she was inspired by the passing of her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2019.
“She was the best,” Anderson fondly recalled to Elle. “And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”
She also told the outlet that shedding her 90s persona felt “freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious,” reflecting her innate desire to forge her own path and preserve her individuality.
She definitely demonstrated that during her most recent appearance at a photo call on Friday for her upcoming film, The Last Showgirl, while attending the 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.
The actress wore a vibrant, long-sleeved floral dress paired with small diamond stud earrings, and heels to complete the look. And of course, she stepped onto the red carpet with no makeup yet again, leaving the crowd stunned by her natural radiance.
Describing her new phase as a “healing experience”, Anderson delved into her more natural regime now which involves rosehip oil, Epsom salts, olive oils, and shea butter, telling People that because of her new outlook on life, she got rid of her glam team completely, much to the surprise of her sons.
“My boys were like, ‘Mom, you must have a glam team,'” Pamela told the outlet. “And my agents were like, ‘You have to have a glam team! Where’s the stylist?’ I go, ‘I know how to put a dress on myself. I don’t need someone buttoning up my blouse. I got this.’ And they were just horrified.”
Regardless of her son’s vivid reactions, the internet was loving this new side to the model.
When photos from the event surfaced online one social media user labeled her as “the most beautiful woman in the world”.
