After his 16-year-old daughter tormented a girl who was facing cancer and removed her wig, her father became enraged and shaved her head as a lesson.

The parent said in a since-deleted Reddit post that his daughter got into trouble at school for making fun of a kid who was balding after cancer treatment.

As part of her tormenting, she even removed the girl’s wig. The father reasoned that being far more direct would be the only effective way to teach his daughter a lesson, as she showed no signs of regret.

#1. THE GIRLS HAD NOT YET GET ALONG.

But as the father made clear, the daughter’s actions are not justified by “bad blood” with anyone.

They had been at odds since the daughter started seeing the other girl’s ex-boyfriend, which is why they were arguing.

He added, “It truly disgusted me to hear how she acted from her deputy principal—not how I’ve raised my daughter to treat people.”

#2. THE GIRL DIDN’T APPEAR TO CONSIDER WHAT HAD BEEN DONE WRONG.

She reiterated her actions and said that the girl in issue was deserving of them. The father had had enough by now.

#3. HE GAVE TWO CHOICES TO HIS DAUGHTER.

The guy offered the young man two alternatives since he could not let this go. One was that he would never purchase her again if she threw away every gadget she had, including her computer, phone, and other devices. Two, she may get her whole head shaved at the hair salon.

She doesn’t obtain a wig, either, and she continues to attend school normally until her hair comes back. In the end, she went with that choice.

#4. According to the teen’s mother, the father went “way overboard.”

“Her mother went ballistic at me saying it will make her the target of harassment,” he said in the post. “Kind of the point, teach her some compassion.”

Remember that the father does not need to contact his ex-wife because she has “moved on with her new family” and he has complete custody of his kid.

#5. THE DAD HAS NO REGRETS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE ELSE MAY THINK.

He explains, “I thought my daughter had an extreme lack of empathy for the girl she bullied, so I came up with the punishment.”

“My daughter’s actions horrified me since I knew this about her. It showed an absolute and total lack of empathy. I thought she would learn a lesson if she walked a mile in the other girl’s shoes and went to school without hair.

So, what are your thoughts? Do you think the father’s punishment was excessive? Please let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
