Jennifer Lopez is getting ready to release This Is Me… Now, her first studio record in ten years and her ninth overall.

And Lopez said in her most recent interview that it’s likely going to be her last record. Fans were shocked when J.Lo told Entertainment Tonight that she’s thinking about retiring.

“To tell you the truth, I don’t know if I’ll ever make another album,” she said. “It’s basically the perfect Jennifer Lopez project, and I’m really happy with it. At some point, they’ll be collector’s items.”

Lopez clearly shocked herself when she said those things, so she begs people not to tell her music boss. “Don’t Let Benny Medina Know That I Feel That Way—This Could Be My Last Album Ever.”

“I feel like it’s the end of a kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new one, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart and soul into this and I’m very excited. It definitely took a lot out of me.”

At the start of the month, actress Ayo Edebiri hosted Saturday Night Live while Jennifer Lopez was the music guest.
During the hour long comedy show, Lopez performed two songs while the host of the night Edebiri used a skit to apologize to Lopez during the show after publicly calling the singer a “scam” on a podcast years ago.

However, while a lot went on during last nights episode, Lopez is being applauded for a mishap she experienced during one of her performances. While singing her song Can’t Get Enough, Jennifer Lopez proved ages is nothing but a number as the 55 year old rocked the stage.

However, during the performance, the singer and dancer danced one of her extensions right out of her head. But as people on X revealed the little hair malfunction didn’t faze the singer one bit and continued on without missing a step.

People were in awe over her performance. “She shut the haters up with this performance,” one commenter wrote.

“J.lo definitely did an outstanding job tonight! She definitely commanded that stage like a pro! Boy, she’s definitely got talent,” another added.
