For years, Geena Davis has been living a reclusive life in her Los Angeles home. However, on Sunday, Davis, 65, emerged from her property for a rare outing into the city as she ran errands in public. During her appearance, Davis wore a blue headscarf and was photographed walking around barefoot while wearing a graphic sweatshirt with the image of a kitten wearing a Santa Claus hat emblazoned across the front.
For more than forty years, Geena Davis has been a Hollywood star. She has appeared in major motion pictures, including Thelma & Louise, Beetlejuice, and A League Of Their Own. However, she has not been seen in public much in recent years, which has led some people to speculate as to what she has been up to. But her outing on Sunday reassured fans that she is doing all right but just enjoys her time alone in her Los Angeles home.
During her outing on Sunday, Davis wore baggy jeans and seemed to be very comfortable. Her hair was tied up in a scarf but her auburn locks were seen underneath it resting on her shoulders. Davis did not appear to put on makeup ahead of her Sunday trip outside of the house while running errands across the city.
The last time Davis was spotted out in public was with her Thelma And Louise co-star Susan Sarandon. The pair attended a special anniversary charity screening of the hit movie and teamed up to raise money for a good cause.
The screening was hosted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Thelma and Louise, which is now considered a classic film by movie aficionados. Davis joined her 75-year-old co-star for the special drive-in charity screening, which helped raise money for the cause back in June. During the screening, Davis and Susan Sarandon looked wonderful and glamorous, as one would expect from Hollywood stars of their caliber.
According to Page Six, Geena Davis settled her divorce from her ex-husband, Dr. Reza Jarrahy, 50. He was her fourth husband. The pair split back in 2017 but struggled to settle their divorce until this year. Their marriage lasted for sixteen years and produced three children. The children are 19-year-old daughter Alizeh Keshvar Davis Jarrahy and 17-year-old twin boys Kaiis Steven Jarrahy and Kian William Jarrahy, according to a report on Geena Davis featured in the Daily Mail.
Sources revealed that Dr. Jarrahy, a plastic surgeon, tried to divide assets equally between himself and Davis. However, Davis was not about to let the fruits of her stellar Hollywood career go up in smoke, so she put up roadblocks to stop Jarrahy from taking all that she had earned from her roles in various movies.
Davis even went so far as to declare that she and Jarrahy were never married. During their bitter divorce, she encouraged him “to lawyer up” if he wanted to take her assets from her, according to the insider source that spoke to Page Six.
“They were very unfavorable to Reza, who agreed to settle just to put this behind him and be free of the nightmare Geena has caused for him,” the source added.
